Our story

Manic Meadery was founded in 2017 in Crown Point, Indiana by life-long friends Keith Cantwell and Tony Qualls. What started as a passionate hobby of wine making, quickly blossomed into rolling the dice on commercial aspirations. Our original Crown Point tasting room officially cut the ribbon in December of 2018.

Our product

Manic crafts mead, wine, and cider in every style and taste imaginable. With around 75 unique releases annually, our customers can always find something to fit their taste or challenge their boundaries. From bone dry to dessert sweet or light and crisp to big and boozy. We truly make something for everyone. The wine making process is a beautiful marriage of culinary, science, and art. Manic prides itself in using only the finest quality ingredients from sources that operate under sustainable business practices. Our commitment to quality is second to none.
